Makhandeni Village’s 4,400 residents relied solely on contaminated open water sources, facing severe waterborne diseases and spending hours daily collecting unsafe water.

State-of-the-art Coding and Robotics Centre equipped with 40 laptops, interactive smartboards, and robotics equipment. Students now develop computational thinking, problem-solving skills, and technological literacy preparing them for the digital economy.

The funding awarded supports Thanda’s holistic community programmes in rural KZN, covering food security for 279 ECD children and 90 households, health and safety equipment, adolescent support resources for 353 youth, and learning materials for 600+ children.

Serves 196 learners with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, and intellectual impairments. The Foundation funded a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for safe transportation to specialised programmes.
