The Victor Daitz Foundation funded the construction of a solar-powered borehole to provide reliable access to clean water for the residents at the Abalindi Welfare Society. The project includes six 10,000-liter tanks and ten 5,000-liter tanks, supported by 6-meter-high stands to ensure adequate water pressure. The solar pump addresses frequent electricity shortages, ensuring consistent water supply.
