Some of the Major projects undertaken during the past few years are:

The Issy Geshen Lamont Home

Redevelopment of the frail care centre at 24 NdlwanaWalk, Lamontville, Durban. This facility provides 24/7 nursing care and social services to older persons who are unable to care for themselves and rely only on a government pension.

KwaZulu-Natal Children’s Hospital – Paediatric Psychology Ward
In 1931, the Addington Children’s Hospital – the first of its kind in Africa - was specifically created to provide for the care and treatment of all children. In 1984, the apartheid government closed it down. In 2010 the name of the hospital was changed to the KwaZulu-Natal Children’s Hospital and the re-establishment project was formed to re-ignite the dream of providing accessible health care to all children of the province.

The Victor Daitz foundation funded the development of The Victor Daitz Paediatric Psychology Centre which is situated on the first floor of the hospital.

Aryan Benevolent Society
Upgrade of Bhai Rambharos Home (children's home) at 80 Arena Park Drive, Chatsworth.

The Foundation has been a generous donor of many of the various capital projects.

Summerhill House
The home cares for abandoned babies and orphans from Etete, Umhlali. The organisation also provides after-school care and a feeding scheme. The foundation provided funding for the construction of 2 homes and an astroturf soccer field/play area.

Pilakade Care Centre
Part sponsorship for the construction of a respite unit and day care centre for the community of Embo, Valley of a Thousand Hills.

Gujarati Hindu Sanskruti Kendra
Additional accommodation at the Kendra Gardens Retirement Home. The original Gandhi Desai School, built on the property in the 1950s, will be converted to an extension of the existing retirement home. This extension will provide 28 additional rooms, new dining room, lounge, offices, storeroom and administration offices. A linkbridge will provide a covered walkway between the two buildings. Completion date: December 2022.

Pietermaritzburg Children’s Home
The construction of a communal hall, dining hall and sports activity centre in Woodlands, Pietermaritzburg.
